The maximum legal speed between where I work and live is 60kmph...A 125 would do the job nicely!

My 125 max's out at about 120-130 kmph. It loves to run at about 80-90 kmph so 60 kmph is no problem. These bikes have a 6 speed tranny but top gear is a big jump compared to 5th,so there are times that on a long incline you have to shift back one gear, add a headwind back one more(4th). The best thing to do IMHO is to get a "run on" before you aproach a steap grade. People sometimes complain about the size of the tires( look like bicycle tires) but next time you watch a 125 GP notice the size of the slicks. Because the bike has so little torque, skinny tires(110/17 rear) have to be used to keep rotating mass down to a minimum for easier acceleration. All in all it is a blast to ride, just remember it IS a 125 after all so it does have it's limits. You can ride on the highway but the bike is do light that big trucks and cross winds tend to blow you around so you have to be careful. You really have run this bike like a 2 stroke that is how it loves to run. I got a smokin deal on my left over 08. The Power House dealer made some kind of deal with Honda and brought in 10 units and blew them out( all 10 were sold in 2.5 hours) for $2295.99.. New bike for the price of a used one, I could not resist! I am sure if you get one you will be happy with it... Harry er I mean Laurie
