Please tell me you mean $2,200 and not $22,000. Otherwise you'll have to explain how you got r1 into the school library, doing wheelies and jacked your rates thru the roof
Welcome aboard

Welcome aboard

Hi Everyone
,
I just bought my first ever motorcycle (Honda cbr125r) about a month ago, always wanted one when I was of age to drive but I bought a car instead...lol. I'm 40 now and regret not putting the time into it sooner. I went down to the motorcycle safety course office back in March and registered for the course, they gave me a course date in June, I left there went straight to the ministry to take the test and passed.... yah!!!!! LOL.
Well, that's my story and I'm happy I can call myself a motorcycle girl.
One question for cbr125, what part of Ontario do you live in that the insurance is that high? I live in Ontario and I only have my M1 and I pay about 600.00 for full coverage, I could have had it for about 325.00 but I opted for the full coverage.

hey there, nice to see riders enjoying the Cbr 125 as well!
I live in Brampton, but apparently because of my age i am considered stupid, irrational and more likely to get into an accident because i am generally immature and do not have the brain capacity
LOL, but yes thats what the insurance companies think when they think of teens, you would be surprised that i can drive very well compared to a lot of more "experienced" drivers, its either u have it or you don't
i have seen a lot of these drivers who are always causing problems on the roads but pay pennies for insurance because of their age, man it really does make me pissed.
I saw a funny commercial the other day asking people to donate their cars to teens who have financial issues, what im wondering is if they cant afford a car what makes u think they can afford insurance? LOL
I geuss thats how it is, my cousin in texas is 18 now and he only pays like 300 bucks a year for insurance on his cbr 600rr
my uncle drove a car with his g1 and no supervising driver, no insurance and ended up crashing the car on a right turn making it completely his fault because he failed to yield, now he went to go get insurance with his g2 and he only has to pay 150 a month, if i were to go and get my own insurance it would be 500 a month and i have a perfect record, this is just ridiculous how insurance companies are

Hi & welcome aboard!
Yep,insurance co. are the root of all evil....they really know how to stick it to you. That being said.....$500/month for insurance is quite ridiculous.
Have you gotten quotes from other ins co.s? SHop around, see what you find and get back to us.
