Glad to be out on the road
Hello,
I just picked up my first street bike last week. An '03 CBR 600RR with 687 miles on it. always garaged. almost immaculate. The seller bought it and then broke his back (not on the bike) and then never really got back on it and just decided to sell it this year.
Started riding MX after a friend in high school invited me to go riding with him. I've done my fair share of riding in the dirt, but I'm looking forward to getting some good turns in on the road. The new bike is in need of some tuning, but I think in a few weeks it'll be an even sweeter ride than right now.
Looking forward to reading and contributing,
Andrew

Hi Andrew and welcome to CBRF!! Post up some pics of that sweet deal when you get the chance. An '03 with less than 700 miles on it!! Gosh, it must have been hard for that guy to part with it!...lol. Keep reading away and definitely don't be shy about contributing. Everyone has something different to bring to the table.
Take care and enjoy the forums.

Pics
Here are a few pics of the new bike. I took these at the sellers house and since them I've cleaned it up a bit. A couple of VERY MINOR scratches on the plastic and there was a little bit of garage dust and dirt on it, but other than that the bike is basically brand new. Seller put some different spark plugs in (not sure what kind) but everything else is stock.
Getting some new tires for it tomorrow. I've decided on Michelins, but not on the model. either the pilot sport or the road I'm thinking. in any case, here are some pics.
Also going to replace the signals with something flush and delete the fender. Let me know your thoughts or comments on the buy, tires, etc.
