Default First Time Rider

Hey guys, I'm new to the sportbike lifestyle. I recently purchased a 2001 CBR F4i. Its my first street motorcycle but I have rode dirt bikes. I am glad to see so many fellow riders that have the same love for riding as me. If anyone is near the south eastern ohio area. Give me a shout

Welcome!!

Just remember riding a dirt bike and a street bike is two different worlds. Take the MSF and read the books thats out. And make sure to get proper gear too.

Thanks for all of the pointers guys. Yeah, proper riding and gear are key to being safe. My dad and brother also ride with me so im not just some 18 year old kid goin out riding by myself without experience. I always wear a helmet and I just dont understand why people dont but i guess thats their decision. I think not wearing a helmet hurts our image, not as sportbike riders, but as motorcycle riders as a whole. Everyone be safe and please wear a helmet.
