F1 Hurricane
Just picked up an 88 f1 hurricane and I'm lookin for any and all info on it. Are they rare, are they fast, are they special at all?? Also I'm turning it into a street fighter and was wondering if an f4i rear swing arm and and shock fit?

Congratulations on your purchase. Now let me say, all CBRs are special as are the majority of the riders!
Actually now I think of it some owners are more special than others.............
The Hurricane was a title used I think only for the first of the CBR600's and for the CBR1000F in 1987/88.
Plenty of info on the CBR600s in the dedicated sections.

welcome to CBRF! hurricanes are awesome. i have no idea about the f4i swing arm - but i know amsoil929, who is a member here, is putting on an r1 swingarm onto his 'cane. haven't seen far away pics of it, but it looks sweet from the few pics he's shared.
