RE: Ethenol Fuel Problem??!!
I'm not an expert in any sense on fuels, but I believe the concern with ethanol is vaper lock is easier/occurs more often on carborator vehicles and the high acohol content will damage the rubber parts of the systems (fuel lines and such)... not really damge, just wear them out much faster.

RE: Ethenol Fuel Problem??!!
I have run ethenol in carburated bikes before and didn't see any problems with it. The only that I really noticed isa little lessperformance because ethenol at the pumps is usually 90 octane or so. I was getting a little more performance with the higher octane but I was paying less for the ethenol fuel with these crazy gas prices. Most bikes will tell you in the owners manuals whether ethenol fuel is ok for your bike or not. I was worried about the same thing you are at one time but I looked it up in the manual and found out that 10% ethenol fuel which is what the sell at most pumps was ok for my carburated bike I used to have and it is ok for my 929RR which is fuel injected. Hope this information helps.
