Ecu wiring
Hi all, first post on this site, any help would be much appreciated.
Could anyone tell me which number pin on my ecu the pink wire connects to? (the one from the ignition switch which supplies 9v to the ecu with the zener diode wired into it)
Assuming that we're labeling ground as pin 5 and the 12v supply as pin 10.
The reason I ask is because i'm based in the UK and my bike had the HISS system when I bought it last year and after a season of short circuit racing on it I would like to do away with the key, just using the kill switch as the main ignition.
I have already stripped the bike of all the wiring it doesn't require for the track and have purchased a USA ecu which as far as I know doesn't include the HISS system.
As far as i can tell it should plug straight in and with the addition of the 9v supply fire up!
Please let me know if there is anything i'm overlooking.
Many thanks in advance.
