Default CBR1000F Secondary master cylinder

Does anyone know if there are any rebuild kits available for the CBR 1000F secondary master cylinder or if there are any compatible alternatives? I only need the piston and seal, not the spring. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet and Honda no longer produces them.

I would have a look at the one for the Blackbird, they may well be the same. Worth checking the part numbers first though.

Just had a look at a parts fiche and they look to be different

Another suggestion is to de-link, unless you're really fond of the linked system.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've checked the secondary master on several other bikes, including the Blackbird, and they are different. There is a secondary master cylinder repair kit for a VFR800 1998 that might suffice, but it's out of stock! De-linking the brakes is an option I will probably end up taking, but I recently bought the bike and am getting it roadworthy, so I haven't actually ridden it and can't say whether I like the linked brakes or not. The only bikes I have had with linked brakes were Moto Guzzis- different, I'm sure! I wanted to at least try the Honda system before making a decision to keep it or not.
