Hi and welcome to the forum. You're going to have to provide a lot more detail before anyone could even begin to help. CBR 1000's have been made since 1987. Indicating the year of the engine would be a good start. What's the history on the engine? Is it being removed from a running motorcycle? Any other things you can think of as well.

Have you checked the serial number on the engine to verify it's a 1989? That way, if you need anything, you know what you're looking at. You need the basics, air, fuel, and spark. How long since it ran? Good chance it's going to need the carburetors rebuilt.

it has been a little while. The only identifying numbers or letters is the CAABBB on the side of the motor other than that I have not found any.

1000cc CBR Hurricane motor in a sand rail?!? 🤔😱🤯

Freaking AWESOME dude!!! 👍🤪

I'm having problems of my own with a '97 600F3 so I wish I could be of more assistance, but I'm on your cheer squad hoping the project is successful and you are able to get it out on the sand, or the Autobahn!!! 🏜️

Best of luck, but elbow grease gets the job done. 😉
