But not a riding newb. First bike was a 1992 GSXR 750. I loved that poor old bike into the ground and sold it to a fellow poor college student after 2ish fun years. Picked up a Ninja 500 after that because I thought I might do AFM...but I commuted more than I tracked so that bike lasted about 2 months before I was bored. Sold that thing and picked up a 2002 SV650 with a GSXR front end and zx6r rear shock. Great bike, had two track days on it on top of the usual commute and it did well all around, but still didn't have the thrill I wanted so I moved on from that one too...that one lasted me about 5 months. Same day I sold the SV I finally got my new baby, a 1996 CBR 900. It's got about 50k miles on it and sounds like a BEAST, I can't wait to jump on it and start riding! But...with such high mileage and an unknown service history, it's doomed to the garage for the next few weeks whilst I rip it apart and do all the major service. Rumor has it this is the best place for info so thought I'd check myself in .

PS- sorry no pics, I pretty much bought the bike and ran away to work and havent had a chance to play with it since! Stock red bodywork...with a broken windshield
