Default Buying new 600RR

Hello all! So after much research and reading into all the 600s out in the market, I have decided I on a 600RR. I was quoted 8799.99 OTD for a 2006 red/black CBR600RR. Does everyone think this is a good deal? It sounds good, but wanted to get everyone's opinions (if any).

thanks!

I bought my black/black '06 on Monday for $7,300 OTD. Now, I know that's a great deal (they considered it used because someone returned it with 10 miles on it) but the dealer said this is the best time to find deals on bikes. The major push is in early to late Spring. Now, with the '07s coming, he said they're just trying to get them out of the warehouse. Yeah, it sounds like salesman speak but they knocked $700 off the asking price and waived all admin fees.

I definitely think you can make a better deal. Push back and play hard. Trust me, they'll negotiate. And once you get them down to their absolute lowest price, tell them to sweeten the deal with free delivery, extended warranty, maintenance plan, theft insurance and/or free gear. Hell, it's your money.

Good luck!

I paid 9300 otd with 4 year extended warranty. I know a shop in TN that sells for under 8000 if you're close by.

Well guys, I did it...8799.99 OTD. I tried to suggest further negotiations but it seems around Los Angeles area, it is as low as it go. I guess I'm happy. Bringing the check to them tomorrow!
