I would love to buy a 2006 but I dont think I will be able to afford it. What kind of price would I be looking at for a 2003-2005 and what are the differences in the years?

Also I am 6' tall, i haven't ridden a cbr600 yet but I won't be too big for it will I?

 

Hello and welcome. There will be a different range of prices for an 03-05. Depending on miles and what not you're lookin in the ballpark of $4200-$6000, maybe more and maybe less. The differences are very minimal at first glance, the 05 was redesigned with different forks, different frame, different brakes, a different swing arm etc. The 05 is the same as the 06 but with different color schemes.

I am 6'1" and I ride an 07 RR (which is lower than the years you are looking into) and I fit in to it fine.

i just picked up my 04 with 2347 miles on it for $6000 and the thing is mint... there will def. be a range in pricing, but look around hard, up close and everywhere on the bike before handing over the cash.

03-04 are pretty much the same.
05-06 improved with what was stated above
07.... improved even more!!

 

you'll be fine height wise, im 6'2 and the only problem i had is when i had the DB windscreen on it i smacked my helmet a few times, but a nice shiny sportech and some stompgrips will take care of that. If your from champaigne you should come up to chi and ride with us if the damn weather ever breaks
