Default Buying 2001 cbr 929 advice

Hi Everyone, I’ve joined this forum after reading a lot of helpfulposts and replaysand I’m looking a 01 929rr with 8700k miles. No cosmetic damage or anything. The bike is very clean the only thing it has broken after market signal scratched left slider butother than that the bike is in showroom condition !it has custom red and black seats ,CF D&D, cbr grips, LED tail light power coated rims white, after market wind shield ,steering controller he is also throwing in the helmetHe wants3900. Is it too much for the bike what price should i aim to get it for? have clean title can some help me here pl I will appreciate it I don’t have too much experience in honda and their valuesand have been doing a lot of reading on here and just want to make buying mysecond bike a good experience. Any tips or advice is appreciated.

Now its your second bike eh? Changed fast. But that is a hella good deal if it's a clean bike. Always try to ask for lower, but if he wont, $3900 seems very reasonable man. If I hadnt bought my bike, I would buy that for that price.

ok I bought a 2000Gsxr 600 and that was my first bike rode it maybe 3 times but because I did not have any experince in buying I found the tank was damaged and painted over itandd the fairing also so i sold it right away does that count as a bike or not for you thanks for your replays

wow 3900 is a very good deal. Make sure you check it out, dont wanna get stuck with someone else's problem.

if everything checks out on it 3900 is a great deal ! check the 929 section and there is a thread about what to look for when purchasing a 929 .. hope it all works out and welcome to the forums

Jeez little defensive are we? No- in my opinion, you riding that 600 3 times does NOT count for a first bike, but do what you want. Buy a bike that doesnt match your skill and see where it gets you, and good luck. A 929 is a big jump from a 600 that you only rode 3 times buddy, but I hope it treats you well.

AAnderson could have been a lil nicer but he is kinda right a 929 for your first bike could prove dangerous. But yeah if everything checks out on that, thats a killer deal on a 929... im not saying what i paid for mine though...

Yeah, damn thats a hella nice deal if the bikes in good shape. Wish I woulda saw that before droppin almost 8k on my 954 [:@]
