Default BEWARE....n00bs abounds!

Hey all, just got my first bike and I'm super pumped to jump on it! If there's anyone in the New England area lmk!

I do have a question though, I need a new chain and sprocket, rear brake disc, and chain and sprocket. Any advice? And from which vendor?

Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Being is Australia I can't advise on a B&M store for your chain and sprockets, but I would look for deals online from a reputable seller.

And please don't bump into each other!

Cheers, SB

I ordered my chain and sprockets thru lytle racing. They do ebay sales and were really good. JT front and rear sprocket with a DID xring 530 chain for less than $200. Rear brake disc... I'd look at ebay too. Go for oem or an oem replacement if you aren't sure.

motomummy.com their driven chain kit is the best bang for your buck. https://www.motomummy.com/chain-kits/

I've got a set on EACH of my bikes, trust them all day long.

welcome to CBRF! always replace your chain and sprockets together, and buying kits are a nice option, but you can also buy and mix brands so long as you use the correct size. decide what size, and then what brands. then i'd shop around, and even use ebay. and for a rear rotor, you can find tons of used ones on ebay. new ones too
