Default Back to bikes after a loooooong time

Hi all,

I spent my childhood working in the family Honda dealership, uncrating and assembling machines and riding dirt bikes, but I never did have a street bike. I forgot how much I loved bikes until I started dating a Harley rider 20 years later

She works in a scuzzy part of town and won't leave her Nightster there unattended so she got a little ZZR 250 for a commuter bike . . . and since we now had 2 bikes I got my license so we could ride together and the motorcycle bug bit me again bigtime. To keep from fighting to the death over who got to take the ZZR to work I had to get my own bike -- and what better than something I used to drool over in Dad's showroom?

Today I picked up a 1989 CBR600, and had a trial by weather as I drove it home 190km in heavy rain with a vicious 50kph crosswind. But even in those conditions it's a stud compared to the ZZR

Hey there Red Eye, congrats on your new bike. Beautiful machine; real clean too.
Looks like it's found itself a perfect loving home.
