any advice?
first off im rocky and new to this site! ive always been in love with bikes and recently purchased my first one, a 95 cbr 600 f3. now as my luck would have it ive ran into a problem and would appreciate any advice, tips, anything helpful or even where i should start! my bike got knocked over a few nights back and laid on its side the entire night while it was pouring rain :/ in the morning i picked it up and started it with out too much of a struggle. now the problem is that bogs down and cuts out after second gear and in everyother subsequent gear. i can redline through first and second gear with no problem but as soon as i hit 3rd it just bogs down and wants to die. but as soon as i down shift back into 2nd its fine??? it idles fine too. anyone know whats going on? id appreciate any help! thank you!

Welcome
Giday Rocky..
Sounds like you have disturbed some crap inside the Carbs and it is only pulling it up under high load (3rd upwards) Try running some carb cleaner though with the fuel before you go ripping her apart...
You could try running her with the gas tank lid just cracked open to see if its a vacuum issue ...
NOTE - (only try this with low fuel level in the tank as it may slosh out while riding!!! )
but really, this question would be better posted into the F3 boards mate , as many of the guys do not read all of the new member posts ...

A soaked air filter will do it every time and is no easy to spot without going and taking it out...... well done for at least locating the problem yourself ...
