Default Another new guy from WI

Hey there guys my names Nate i'm from Eau Claire, WI I just bought my first bike yesterday. I heard so many good things about the f4i that i had to go and get one lol. I got a good deal on one. A guy bought it new in 03' and babied it it's entire life it only has 7700 miles and is in immaculate shape. I got it for 3600 with a nice coat as well. I feel like it was a pretty good deal how do you guys feel?? Anyways im super excited to ride it and i just got a new plate and transfered the title today. Only problem that i have is that i don't have a bike license yet and plan on gettin one next week. I picked up the safety hand book and am reading it cover to cover and then going to try to pass the test for my temps sometime next week so im ready to hit the road, can't wait anyways hope to hear from some people on here ttyl

Thanks, Nate

Welcome Nate - lived in Eau Claire a couple years as a kid myself. the F4i is a great find, good price and mileage. 01-03 are the most attractive model years to me. plenty of good people and good resources on the site; post up pics and ask questions.

Congrats on the F4i. You could maybe look into a motorcycle safety course in you area, They are a great start into learning to ride. Ride safe.

P.s. I looked all over your pic's. I figured there would be a cheese head in it. I was wrong.

Great plan! Was gonna suggest a course so she stays pretty. The book is one thing. But actually sitting on the bike waiting at the red light and feeling the bike... almost pacing back and forth like a lion waiting to pounce... It's a whole different world and a fair bit intimidating.

The MSF courses help with that and starts you out right, minimizing the bad habits you'll form
