thats a nasty bike. you just have to realize that you have a 1000cc bike. respect it theres no need to act like an idiot on it at first its a fast bike you know it other people know it no need to prove it. you can easily do power ups on it but ide give it a year of gettin comfortable on it if u want to do wheelies. i was on a R1 when i was 14 and was doing wheelies and wrecked the bike.

and for the crazy part. screw sanity. i for one am a few cans short of a 6 pack. if it aint scaring the **** out of you it aint worth it

yup in that case you are crazy and that was a real stupid move. But its up to you how you ride and learn to ride. You have the odds against you now, learning on a 1k will slow your learning curve. Take the MSF, buy full gear, read all you can, spend ALOT of time in a parking lot practicing.

Good luck and nice bike, I hope it stays that way, but the odds say...

Guess he could try findind a restrictor kit for it. I wouldn't wanna ride a 1k that was restricted to 33hp tho.

Can't see her taking the insult too well

I bought a 250, and took the MSF course. I rode my 250 for 3 years before I felt comfortable enough to move up to a 600. You will need to take it easy, and know your limits.
