Default 2003 cbr 600 f4i

i recently picked up a 2003 honda cbr 600 f4i and i have noticed that the throttle is a little sticky and the bolt holding the clutch on the handlebar starts coming loose and backing out when i ride and the clutch is a little hard to pull is this normal on the cbr's and is there anything i can do to adjust it or fix it any info will help i am a new rider

Hey there Hydro, congrats on your new ride, and good choice too, lol. With your throttle, it might be the grip that's rubbing, the cables might need a lube, or the cable is pinched/kinked. The clutch cable is also very similar to the throttle cable. The clutch lever may also need lube. With the screw coming out, have you tried tightening it? If you have, then degrease it & use locktite on the threads. But as Juliet so graciously pointed out, it may be better to ask either in the 600F4i and/or the General Tech Section(s). Make sure you wear gear & take it slow.

+1 to incognito

Use a graphite powder to lube the clutch cable if you go that method. I have heard of guys using a wet lube and that fixes it for the time being, in the end it gets worse when the liquid dries and gums up.
