About to buy a 2003 rr
I am going to look at and possibly buy an 03 600 rr tomorrow. Its got 6500 miles on it and the price is at 4600$. Is there anything in particular I should look for in these bikes that may cause me problems in the future? I know a few basic things to look in to, but any tips on what to watch out for would be appreciated!
Thanks guys

just check to make sure it wasn't crashed, it has a clean title and that the oil was changed. there isn't much maintenance on these bikes, the only thing that would deter me from an 03-04, and it did deter me, was the lack of inverted forks. price seems a little high as well, I paid $6500 for my 07 and it has the 5 year extended warranty.

The mileage is likely low due to our winters in this lovely town, or I assume you are buying locally in Milwaukee. 2003 was the first model year, this is something that people warn about. Also, I would analyze the person and surroundings as you purchase. If they seem crazy, they likely are. Look for road rash, or covered up signs. Including bar ends, lever ends, swing arms, stator cover, mirrors, etc.
Look for stickers that may be covering damages too.
I wouldn't buy the first time I look at it. Try to hear it start cold, rather than warm. Check if the buttons on the tach/odometer work. They break really easily, but are simple to fix.
Let me know if you have other questions.
