Smile 1993 CBR1000F Overhaul

Hello fellow CBR enthusiasts! I am new to the forum and hope to be able to extract, as well as contribute, solid information relative to the Hurricane. Currently I'm amidst an "external" overhaul of my 1993 1000F and would like to strip down as much of the unnecessary emissions stuff as possible. I've got 33K miles on it and am the second owner. It's mechanically stock and is a California bike, so whatever additional emissions equipment is on it, I'd like to remove. I just ordered new headers/down pipes from Delkevic but haven't decided on a muffler/silencer system, yet.
I'll update periodically with tribal knowledge as well as pics, but it will be a bit of a slow process because I work out of town and only come home to my garage a couple of days per month. Looking forward to this opportunity. Dave

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum.

There is information on how to remove the PAIR system on this forum. There is a thread relating to it here :- https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f...riction-68952/

Kilgortrout has removed all the extra pipework, so it can be done. Come on over to the Hurricane section for more help :- CBR 1000F "Hurricane" - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners

Feel free to ask questions, we're here to help
