Default My 1993 CBR1000F

Here are some pictures of my refreshed 1993 CBR1000F. It has 34,000 miles on it. I just purchased it in May of this year for $1800. It was semi-clean when I bought it but realized it was quite filthy after taking plastics off and inspecting it further. It had the rear swing arm paint falling off in the center along with alot of oil/lube all over it so I cleaned it up, sanded it down and repainted. The wheel paint was not in great shape and I did not like the color so I repainted them semi-gloss black and added wheel decals. I put on a new set of Continental Motion tires in 120 and 180 sizes. I must say I love them so far.

I changed the oil and filter, adjusted the chain and cleaned it up and re-lubed it. Drained the clutch master/line oil and installed new. I haven't got to the brake system yet, will probably wait until this winter or next spring for that. Other than that just cleaned it up a bit and this is how she looks now.

Next on the list will be a new tinted wind screen and maybe try the Buell foot pegs.

Sweet ride, man. Looks really clean. I like the "no decal" look. Just like mine.

Love the rim decals.
Where'd you get 'em?
Nice looking bike by the way.

I was wondering about those, too, and I found them on ebay. They're over in the UK, though. Like $16.
I'm not really a sticker guy, but you don't see too many 1000F decals and those are sorta cool.

Sweet as BadRhino,

Fantastic job, a bike you rightfully should be proud of.
You didn't want to refit the covers to the Yoshi's?? Looks like the mounts are there.

I have the same cans, but will be paining them black and putting the covers back on..............fingers crossed

Cheers, SB

Yes, I got these off of feebay on the UK side, but shipping was free I think and they are of good quality. You can get them in many diff. colors.

@ SB
I haven't decided if I was going to put the covers on or not. I was thinking of painting them black and putting them back on sometime or grind the tabs off of the pipes. LOL
