Default 06 vstar to a 1990 hurricane

Hey guys just bought my first sports bike a 500$ 90 f1 beat to hell but it's mine! I've always wanted a sports bike I chose a cruiser st first to learn the ropes and to keep my self somewhat out of trouble. But I couldn't pass it up sense the star is in the shop for a while and the price, why not am I right! Anyways I've always been particular with body styles of sports bikes. I love a sharp rear end and this is not that in the slightest I love the recent years with the exhaust coming out in the center and that sharp rear end. I've been trolling for a while and have noticed im pretty much stuck with the square rear and side exit exhaust. Exhaust im not worried about I can live with that but the body of the hurricanes are hideous imo it's 30 years old times have changed but I also want to keep this bike it's a great bike she's just naked at the moment as id rather that that have the fairings on but I can cross someone who put a bunch of cbr rr parts on there 90 hurricane and I have my mind set now. I need to have this in my life, should I just pick up a set of 03 rr fairings and try and figure it out my self I understand I will have to fab mounting points. And im fine with that but I would love to hear from someone who has done this for those little things that I wouldn't know on mock up. I'll throw the link im so you guys can see what im trying to accomplish. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I start my journey into making this hurricane my own!

Welcome to the forum Dalton!
In the past, members have asked your question. The members who did the mods and put different plastics on a cane responded in a similar manner.
Basically, you can put those plastics on a goat but, you have to be willing to fabricate the mounting hardware. You will need to spend the time and head scratching to get it done but it can be done.
