Default JUST BOUGHT A 929

I just bought an 01 929 last weekend for 6k with 19k on the odometer with a full Micron exhaust. Does this sound like a reasonable deal or what. Any info would be cool, thanx, Nate.

Hi Nate,
Welcome to the boards. Glad to have you here. It sounds like you got a good deal to me. 01 with only 19k miles. Not too bad at all. How long have you been riding and is this your first sportbike?

whats up nate. i bought one about 6 months ago. mn you are going to love your bike. it has all the power you need but it just dosent feel like a big bike, when you twist it though it lets you know. that dose sound like a good deal. i hope you injoy it as much as i do mine. another good thing is there is all kinds of aftermarket stuff for it. welcome to the board..

Sweet deal! I bought an '01 929 with only 4k on it looking dang near brand new. I paid only $5800. Looks like we both got a sweet deal. The Kelly Blue Book value lists our make/model/year as only about $4400 but believe me...we got a steal. You'll be more than happy with that bike. Keep huggin'!

Thanx for the welcome. This is actually my 3rd sportbike. I had a 02 R6, and a 97 Gixxer 750. The R6 was light and nimble but IMO underpowered. The Gixxer was powerful but was heavy and hard handling in the turns. This 929 has the best of both worlds, wicked power and handles like a F'n dream.

Nate, you do business like me. First I buy it, then I look at the reviews and beat myself up. Like a piece of art, how much do you like it and how much are you willing to part with? Don't look back. Keep it and enjoy it. Ride it for 6,000 miles and you will have paid a dollar/mi. Where else can you have that much fun for so little.

^ That got past me, I usually check.
So that was 14 years ago. So, if he is putting 10k on per year he should be up to 140K. lol
