Default CBR1000f fighter

after much deliberation, I have decided it's goin down. my 87 hurricane 1000 is getting tossed under the knife I haven't decided a definite rear end for it yet(99-00 600f4 or zx10r are the likely candidates. for now I'll just cut down the back and saw/trim my corbin seat to a single rider. hopefully the beast will turn out super sauce, I'll get some pics up asap, fairings coming off tomorrow after work. let me know what you think guys. I still need a bit of creativity for my one of a kind street bomber

this is how she looked today

i'm pretty pumped! my katana fighter was pretty cool back in the day, this thing is gonna be a beast tho lol. hopefully tomorrow I'll be getting a bit of money for parts, I want to get my trail tech vapor ordered asap so I can get this thing torn down and into shipping boxes lol. I'm still not sure how I want to do my headlight. the classic round has been done to death, but I don't really wanna do the ebay alien face strap on headlight. any fresh ideas?

so fellars, how would I go about mounting the cr500 fat bars to my triple clamp? I guess I could just do a nice clean job of drilling my triple and bolting the cr500 bar clamps.. suggestions?

well it looks like this project isn't going much further, a lifted f150 backed over it at work today.. fairings are gone, big crack in the motor, frame pretty smashed. watched it leave on a flatbed headed to pacific steel and recyclers. guy didn't wanna make an insurance claim, so he payed me out $1200. so now it's back to finding another cbr, I should be picking up a 00 cbr600f4 tomorrow I hope.

so a toast to the titanic, I barely knew her a month. logged 800miles in the last 3weeks of her life. you'll be missed
