Default 06 600 rr newb

Hey all! I'm ADD when it comes to bikes, and have had 6 or 7 already, within the past year. Mostly because I kept buying cheap ones that would blow up on me... Decided to spend a bit more this time, (like 8x as much) and get something that I didn't have to worry about (mechanically / electrically wise).

Picked up an '06 600RR, and love it! I had a 96 600RR as one of my past bikes, and loved it - it was more of a zombie bike, bits and pieces missing everywhere - not sure how it ever ran.

Anywho, here's the new toy. I'm looking for mods to do - definitely want to get the exhaust done at some stage, and a new set of plastics. Any other ideas?

Hi kyle welcome to the forum . Very nice 600 . A really cool mod would be a pc and cat delete kit and 3 brother racing carbon fiber exhaust plus dyno tune .

The pillion cover *does* work, as in, it's a hard plastic surface, making sure I don't ever carry passengers.

The lock works on it too...

I heard that full exhaust systems can actually make the bike lose power at lower rpm, and the only time they see power is high rpm, which rarely gets used (by an amateur such as myself)

Looks good! Was the CBR600 called a 600rr in 1996 though?
