Default 03' CBR600rr in DC

Hello all ,

I just purchased my second CBR 600 RR yesterday. Its Pearl Yellow with about 3800 miles on the clock.

I do have a few questions:

1. It seems to bog when i revve. Only for the first 3ooo rpms then free revves like normal. Could this be bad/ old gas or something else?
2. WHen you open the oil cap should you see oil (as in does it need to be filled to the top?
3. Any good shops in the NoVa area any one can recommend?

Sorry for the noob questions...

thanks!

My F4i has a site glass - it's on the lower right hand side and it's viewable through a hole in the fairing. The upper line represents the max fill level when the bike is held straight up and down (not on the kickstand) and the lower line represents, of course the lowest acceptable level.
