Default advice on gear

hello females, I'm brand new to riding and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where I should get my gear. My friend told me that I can shop around my area. Advantage: I get to try it on and look around personally. Disadvantage: its pricier than purchasing it online. I'm sort of on a budget as well so I don't know. I've noticed Icon gear and that they have good stuff for females? but yea, any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you and have a great day

I really like the joe rocket's female line. As for prices and such - I like to look around locally, try everything on and decide what I like - then go online and purchase it.

Shop around and make friends with people who work at dealerships...LOL! Stay away from half shell helmets though....

Joe Rocket gear is great I have one of the mesh jackets and it is very comfortable. The color is great to. I also have icon gloves which really sucks they felt great in the store very comfortable until you ride your bike with them on and all the stiching seems to dig into your hands and hurts. But always go to a store and try the gear on first before buying any of it on line. I'm having alot of trouble finding stuff that fits me because I'm a very small person in weight I'm 5'6 so not really short but I only weigh 105 pounds soaking wet so I have problems finding gear. Never order anything on line till you have tried it on in a store first because every name brand fits diffrent and you want to be comfortable while riding.
