What Shadow said.

But grandkids do the same thing - they grow up. At least, mine who aren't a continent away did. There are always great-grandkids I guess. Could be some in a few years.

My girls, 26 & 21 live with me and my son, 24, lives just around the block. When my son and I get together, he is the adult figure, he, he, he...

Thumbs up

Thanks Joe! Makin' me have memory moment. I stayed very envolved with my three, now 26, 24, & 22. My son, in the middle, is my ridin' buddy. I'm proud of 'em all. They grew up to be some fine people. All very different with very different talents. Sometimes I'm in awe of them.
Oh yeah, I don't miss the diaper smell.

Well I do miss him pissing on his mom when she took that diaper off. I couldn't get enough of that!

My young bloke crapped down my arm once. Had him sitting on one hand, up in the air holding one arm in my other hand...could've been fear I 'spose. That's one thing I don't miss!!

My magic moment when the first was a toddler was in a supermarket check out line
with a buncha old ladies , my first an only pride and joy at that time ....looks up
to her Mom as she is sitting in the shopping trolley and says ........loudly in the
sweetest little girl toddler voice .

Mommy ........ Mommy ...........MY **** IS KILLING ME !

OMG I'll never forget the collective swoon on those old ladies faces !
& my wife could not get out of there fast enough either

Funniest little daughter moment of my life ever !

That is HILARIOUS! LMAO!

Mine also had a penchant for puking on his mom, but never on me. I could hold him for hours and when I turned him over to her, he barfed right up about half the time. Maybe he noticed something I didn't.

Funny stuff. We went out to a nice seafood restaurant when my son was very young. somebody walked past with a plate of huge prawns with the heads hanging over the edge. He looked on in awe and said loudly "look at the size of those *********!". All the people at the tables around us fell about laughing...I was so proud.
