Why we don't pass on the double yellow!
See, 2 wheels are 2 wheels no matter your choice. I like Harleys.
ha ha i must say i ride with harley and cruiser riders and when the people in the camper said "there gonna beat us" i kind of got mad. ha ha did you see the type of bikes they were riding? they were full dressers, older people. I wouldnt have been scared at all. **** i probably would have helped them pull the bike from the ditch with my tow rope. then i would have had a motorcade ha ha and free beer at the next bar. all harley guys aren't mean people, only the ones with little winkies are. ha ha most of the ones i have met are actually quite nice. yeah they give me crap about my sport bikes but when im going by them with 2 gears left to go they tend to ease up ha ha. i think the people in the camper were a bunch of wussies.
Did you notice how the second Harley just blindly followed the first one, and nearly went "trail riding" too.
Classic example of "monkey see monkey do" hehe

I agree mate. GEEZ, I love and appreciate nature and the like more than most. Hell I work most of the summer in the timbers. But yeesh, I don't cry when I have to cut one of the buggers down or watch hundreds of thousands of 'em burn up. Earth 1st for sure! We'll go use up Mars 2nd
Bucket of Nuts and Bolts are just a slang I (we) used for the true a-hole harley guys... I've been real lucky around the Valley to we all seem to get along... Hell I ride with my Captain (he's got a soft tail) and my boy's girlfriend's dad (not sure what harley he has but its loud lol)

Right you are Classic ! Add to that the lockup of the rear brake and there you are. Thing is the guy was back on the right side of the road, overcorrected for the next curve and panicked, not looking where he wanted to go,but what was directly in front. I have to wonder if the sport bike that went past them provided the inspiration to outride both their skills and equipment...This is a repeat story I've told ,but I had a harley rider that I had passed about ten miles back. I pulled over for water (in and out) and during my rest stop,he pulled into the other side of the parking lot. When I left he caught up and used three of four lanes to pass me in a curve. No problem dude, you win !!
I have a lot of stories about riding with the HD boyz, most of them funny in the end. Thing is they know what they are riding and I know what I am riding.....no contest....

That video has nothing to do with should/shouldn't pass on the double yellow, and everything to do with learning how to actually ride a motorcycle before trying crap like that. What a couple of tools...yikes.
I just got a chance to see that properly.
***** till it hurt.
What a pair of knuckleheads. If they were actually on bikes that handled they would have made that corner and the next one without to many dramas. Obviously neither of them can ride anything other than a bike thats built only for straight line riding. Riding a Harley or similar type cruiser doesnt allow the rider to know what it feels like to lay the thing over and punt it though some nice bends. When the time did come to do that they and the machine weren't up to it. It was good entertainment but all the same !!!!
