We have not had winter here yet. It is very cold, to cold to snow. I have a passion for skiing but there is no snow. The extreme cold air is to dry. The wind has not stopped blowing for a week now.

There are some birds that hold up for the night under my window awnings. They are not moving. They don't move until noon and then return around 4 pm.

I am usually outside all day in the winter but this sucks. I can't wait for spring.

I bet that if you released some of those flies here, they would drop in about 2 inches and be frozen before hitting the dirt.

Yep, you got it pretty bad up there, TBT...
Up where you are its prolly what?... 12F-18F or so??

It's noon here and about 23F (-5C). The wind is still here, too. It pretty much sucks....
We're supposed to maybe see high 30's next week (1-4C) !! I'm so excited.

Mozzies=Mosquitoes? No bugs here, but we have tied or broken record low temps three times so far this winter.

Ahh yes Moama. Was part of my old stomping ground when I was based at Finley. Your right to. Bloody hot down there. The Southern 80 ski races were always a good perve..... We are gearing up for 3 days of 42 plus temps from 2mrw. Only 38 today so we should feel lucky.....I can hardly wait.....
