Hey man! that's exactly how I was feeling. Can't is not in my vocabulary anymore. I can and will do it, even if I have to make it out of wood. I will not fail.........I have a grinder and there is nothing stopping me now.

That's way north of me. I am 20 miles west of Albany.I could ride up and see you. It would give me a chance to try out my new riding boots.

 

Never made it last week TBT the weather was way to dodgy washed out roads and all
that jazz .....might make a run for it with the trailer Thursday ......not certain yet

It's a 12 hour deal up and back with the ferry trip !

I've been following this sale from the start, being a gen 1 fan and of decent barn finds (ya know, cars, bikes and general chit) The suspense is killing me, every time I log on to see what your've got theres another twist.

Ya can't go wrong with a gen 1, it's genesis. As one of the crew mentioned, parts might drive ya a little batty with the sutble changes. Your comment on these being classic's now makes me feel some what dated. I remember when these came out and were the 'bee's knee's' so to speak and having had one in the early nineties. Best bike I ever rode, hence why I have a gen 1 now abeit the 750 model just to keep things interesting.

Watched that grinder guy video with my heart pounding like 200. I was absolutely sure the guy takes out a finger or something... Anyhow, nice bike U got there. Going to watch this one as it goes.
