What RU listening 2 right now?

For your listening pleasure and as practise for me I took the liberty to translate the lyrics to the song above. Due to my limited vocabulary they are not 100% correct cause I had to cut a few corners but close enough to tell what`s going on. Pretty proud actually...
WE ENTER CRISTMAS TIME (translation by Mattson)
We enter cristmas time with trees of fir and candles mold
Green branches of the tree we decorate with silver, gold
But do we re-mem-ber the child, that bright-ness brings so divine.
We enter cristmas time with thoughts so earthly, greedy glow
those rich man fills his head with full and mind so hol-low
Mouth full with food and wine we eat,
child forgotten in snow beneath.
Oh friends if we, like wise men three, would take the treasures old
and bring to the beloved child the precious myrrh and gold
Then we could see our cristmas eve, could be the start so heavenly!
(We enter cristmas time with trees of fir and candles mold
Green branches of the tree we decorate with WIDE LEATHER BELTS XD (heavy version...)
But do we re-mem-ber the child, that bright-ness brings so divine.
But do we re-mem-ber the child, that bright-ness brings so divine.)

Here's one you might like Matt.
Not very festive, but a great song, the singer has a really powerful voice, this band have grown on me over the years and I discovered them by accident when I was looking for an album by 'Testament'. So lucky!!
The second video is the best version, but I can't find live video footage of it.
Still I love chicks that rock and this band has two of them.
Oh best to watch in full screen

Sorry, another dud...
Really not my thing... I`m really picky bout my music and go through a LOT of bands to find one here and there that I like. I know many bands that have one really great song and have been really disappointed to discover that...
I`ll throw another one that I like and don`t recall posting before. This is an other band of the lead singer and bass guitarist Marco Hietala from Nightwish:
For some reason my computer`s really sluggish tonight... Well, that`ll be fixed when my new custom built machine that I ordered arrives next week.

Another thing I accidentally found when watching that gypsy video.
Count how many times the guy opens his eyes when playing.
EDIT: Either this guy is a cyborg, or he`ll put Michael Angelo Batio to shame...
Do this after him...

Sad day if you're a Beatle fan

Last week it was Dave Brubeck and Hawk's hero.
Man, we're getting old

Yes we are Woof, I listened to some of Ravi's music while I was getting ready for work this morning. He really was good, so absorbed by the sounds he was creating he became the instrument!
Cheers, SB

A Chritsmas Gift
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year!
For me this is the jewel in the crown when it comes to The Who.
Tommy was OK, but this album encapsulated the essence of teenage angst in the late 70's early 80's, (though set in the 60's).
This double album was a revelation to me in my mid-teens, how could anyone express how I felt in lyrics and then set it all to music?
Somehow they managed. It feels incredibly personal to me, even the opening track 'I Am The Sea', makes my hair stand on end.
There is no 'Video', this was before that time and is un-needed, the music paints the pictures. View it in 'Full Screen', in your 'Mind's Eye'.
Here it is, for you in it's entirety. Not one of the most well known recordings from The Who. But in my opinion, one of their best.
And I know he's on a scooter and yes he's a squid 'cos he's not wearing ATGATT. But who GAF!
