Well, #1. It was written by Sting. Not a bad effort. See Roy Orbison's "The Comedians". An actual, in the spirit of Orbison song, written by Diana Krall's husband.

#2. He orphaned his children and widowed his wife. Does that mean the wife was not the mother of the children?
