What I do with my spare time
...and I seem to have a lot of it these days
Well friends, it seems the trout aren't biting right now, so I get a call from my buddy Matt who needs a helping hand doing a natural stone patio for a wealthy client's beach house out on Hood Canal.
Every stone is hand-fitted and hand-laid.
Mostly all I did was mix and shovel mortar, but I am proud to say that half of the stone fitting is my work.
I think I missed my calling

Nice job there Woof.
All sorts of opportunities will arise - it's amazing what we are all capable of if the need arises.
And as for the fish not biting - there's always the Irish method of getting dinner.
Dump a hand grenade in the pool.
Don't even need bait
Results are immediate ..................................
Sometimes the need for dinner has to outweigh the sporting aspect of fishing. LoL

Hey, Thanks for the compliments.
This little gig gets me outdoors and though it can be hellishly physical, it's rewarding and ain't a bad way to "earn a crust", as Shadow would put it.
Would love to set myself up in a new career that involves lifting nothing heavier than a coffee cup and not play in fish guts that are not of my own doing. Oh well, C'est la Vie
Onto a new stone job. Pics to follow.
...and thank you all for your support

Even without a gavel to wield, I declare the topic open for discussion.
The aforementioned parties will have two posts each to declare their positions.
Then it will be up to public judgement to settle this debate.
Final arbitration will thus then shall be made final and complete.
Unless the party from New Zealand declares otherwise
