Yup shes a 20 ft Caribbean ...170hp stern drive inboard ...
With fridge , toilet , sink and small stove ...
Not too bad in rough Ocean water , but we mainly stay in Pt Philip Bay here 200yds away ...
The bay is pretty dam huge , so we don't bother going far out into the open ocean ...
I am a chitty fisher man Pete ... I recon Kerri has more luck than me ..![Icon Doh](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_doh.gif)
We mainly use the boat for just cruising and relaxing ...a little fishing when I can be bothered... We don't get those sorts of fish that you went after here in the bay either mate ... lol
As you would know from yours , boats can be fun , but getting to use them often enough to justify them sitting around all year can be a drag ..

Same as mine except I didn't have fridge , toilet , sink and small stove he he
Basic boat for the boys, although mommy went out a few times.
Costs became stupid, and too few fish within reach, so it lost it's appeal....using 100 litres of gas to catch bait really wasn't worth it. Rather do 1500 kays on the bike !

Yer , bloody feeding the engines with gas can be painful; , that's for sure ..
That is one of the reasons we tend to hang out in the bay here ....way less fuel required ...! We don't use it enough really , but gunna hang on to her anyway for the foreseeable future ..
Exactly
... that is the way I see it too mate ....

Nice boat, steve!
Man, I love boating and fishing. We have a few lakes around, but no bay. That's why any time I get near the ocean, the first thing I do is look for boats to rent... lol... We've got rivers, though, and I used to live on them. I'd canoe all the time in the summer.
Looks like some people have some cool rides.
Hawk, I've never heard of Vauxhall. Interesting. That would be the equivalent of our Cadillac Catera, eh? I always like to hear about the car and truck names overseas.
Shadow, if I lived in an area where I could get away with it.... I'd probably ride all the time, too.
However, I sometimes get in the mood for a good car drive or a nice muddy trail run in my jeep or truck.
