Oh okay Hawkman..........

I'm an IT Director for a small City, run all the system stuff, Police/Fire 911, Financials, GIS , E-mail etc. etc about
32 application servers & 250 clients , spread out over 10 buildings.

So don't ask me geek speak.....................I'll never shut up..............no really don't do it for the luv of God

The only "irregulars", perp's & "suspects" I deal with hawkman usually get locked up.

I think we're all lurking a bit on this one Sawnee , especially me!!!

So I'll be first , 'cos nobody and I mean NOBODY! can have a more embarrassing job than mine .

I work as cabin crew for a well known British airline . Yeah that's right , I'm the guy serving you 'chicken or beef'. I might also add that I'm one of the 'straight' minority!

In my defence , I also improve houses and sell 'em on , 'cos the money the 'day job' pays shure aint much to live on when you got a wife and kids to support. So I have learnt to do a bit of plumbing , electrics , joinery and plastering . Which is why in my profile I've listed myself as 'Jack of all trades' and certainly master of none

So c'mon guy's who can beat that?

Default Full of Garbage(man)

When I use to meet new prospective gals for the 1st time I always told them I was a garbage man... or maybe just full of garbage.

I am a Paramedic / Engineer (the driver of the Fire Engine). I get to drive a $350,000 toy! But seriously, I really love it. A dream come true job. I am also a wildland fire specialist. So during the fire season I travel all over the western US on all types and sizes of wildland fires as an Engine Captain and or an Initial Attack Incident Commander. They also get a bonus of getting a "free" paramedic along for the ride. During our fire season we typically get some of the Aussies up here to help out. I am HOPING and it MAY happen this year our District will be part of the exchange program and I'll get to go down there.

I have been in the Fire Service for 12 years (10 paid) and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Especially after some of the crappy jobs I've held in the past. I am truly blessed with my work. It has really kept me on track and maintained my sanity!

That's interesting, Hawkman...
In a million years, I never would have guessed it.
I don't see it as being embarrassing, though...

In fact, I may be able to beat it!!

I work at a landfill. I run their wastewater treatment plant and laboratory.
I also take care of most of the electrical stuff, and I do pump and pipework, etc.
I also operate heavy equipment regularly, and pretty much anything else that needs done. I've been doing this for about 5yrs, and before that, I worked as a department head of field operations for a laboratory. We did wet-chem analysis, micro, and organics testing.

Micheal, that sounds like a pretty dam cool job!
