Roll Call
CBR1988 in the house, it has been awhile, no riding in the last couple of years the 1KF is stuck at 300 k miles for the time being. I have to go through the bike before riding it again as we had a little flooding here in NC while I was overseas. I hope all is well with y'all.

Gday all well the parts that needed repair have been repaired yay and are now in primer ready for paint. The tricky part of it all is that big yellow sticker on the side. The 1000f sticker has been saved. Couple of weeks and I should be back on the road again yaaaayy. Been missing the old girl
Well she is back front plastic surgeon looking better than ever.. excuse me while I enjoy riding her 😆
Yeah I’m still alive but me bike might end up being a write off because of this. Hit a truck 7/2/2019 when the driver decided to make a U turn as I was over taking. All I can say is thank god for quick reflexes getting on the brakes and turning otherwise I would’ve gone under the wheel
Hi Guys,
New to the forum but not to Hurricanes, had 2 from 1986 to 1993 then life got in the way
Anyway just bought one in the UK (for my 60th) but won't get to see our new girl until September when we head over for a trip to Europe, its a bit of a risk as I am trusting the seller but had good vibes when talking too him, he is going to get it MOT'd and get the dealer to check it over for me before I get it relocated to a friends place.
The down side is we are having to buy all new kit which will cost about as much as the bike but we plan to import her back here to Perth after the trip.
Hey Rhonda really glad you got yours fixed its all to easy to let insurance companies write them off and then its another one that disappears, whoever fixed it did a fine job on it, where abouts in Perth are you? I am in Booragoon.
