Yeah I’m still alive but me bike might end up being a write off because of this. Hit a truck 7/2/2019 when the driver decided to make a U turn as I was over taking. All I can say is thank god for quick reflexes getting on the brakes and turning otherwise I would’ve gone under the wheel

Damn sorry to hear. For being hit by a truck she doesn't look too bad

-35 C with a windchill and the worst cold snap in 21 years. Lucky thing we've got videogames and beer to keep away the cabin fever

Thanks man. Yeah it doesn’t look to bad but insurance company may write it off. They won’t use second hand parts and I doubt Honda has one parts in stock.

So it's just the four of us?

Hey Hamlin. Looking forward to baseball season

Rhonda, tough break. Can you let the insurance company total the bike then buy it back as a salvage?

T-slap. We got a blast over the border that came down from the Fraser River. Cold and snowy where we don't usually get it. My sister in Winnipeg and a cousin in Ontario are even complaining about this winter

Had to throw something up for old times sake. I was searching for old pics on some threads and got all f*cking misty eyed

I sure can buy it back and salvage it. I will probably have to get it relicensed after I repair. That’s if I buy it back they probably want $2000 for it I’m guessing. Meaning a total of $3700 for the bike as I payed $1700 for it originally. Then I’d have to find fairing and get it painted.

I'm still lurking about.

Don't have a bike at the moment, sold the CBR900 in the autumn/fall. Blew most of the cash on a Gibson Les Paul. I've wanted one for 35 years and thought it was about time
my SG had some company.

I'll see how this season goes. If I get the shakes real bad I'll buy something. But the plan is to look for a good Blackbird, another itch I want to scratch.

I'm still here and check the site frequently, but I'm still relatively new and dont have nothing to contribute. You guys have already discussed most everything there is to discuss so anytime I have a question I find my answer using the search.
I am in the process of getting my spare tank painted and it will be color matched to the bike. As soon as that is finished I will post pics.
I recently bought a new z900rs and cant wait till the weather warms up. I am amazed at the prices of the 70's japanese bikes shooting up like they have.
makes me wander what the prices of the 80s and 90s super bikes will be in a few years, especially super nice ones

I am still here too.
My Hurricane is getting the cylinder head port and polished by APE. Also, getting a valve job with new valve guides and springs. Carbs rebuild, valve adjustment and polished valve cover.
As soon as I get it back I will post photos.
