That's the one. Had all the decals made so she looks a bit better now. If only I had the time & dollars I'd pull her down & restore her to her full former glory. These are still one of the best bikes ever built & still turn heads so they deserve looking after.

Just went to my local sign shop. The guy took photos of the old ones & made new ones. All up from memory just over $150 for the lot about three years ago. Much of this cost is for the artwork. Once on file they can reproduce at a much cheaper price. It also gives you the option of different decal materials. No photos as they just look like standard decals.

Hey Bluebeard,
good to see you back.
The last thing I saw you write was that you'd got your frame back from the straightening surgeons. You have to tell how she came back together.
C'mon, grab a beer and give us a summary.

Spectacular sparkler man! Sheesh, I'm surprised you haven't been lying in a gutter somewhere recovering from grevious bodily wallet damage.

And about that YZF?????.........

The recipe for bike repair is as follows.
Take a small serve of humiliation. Combine it with a large amount of luck. Add a 3/4 portion of homework. Separate necessary from not necessary & discard whats left over. Mix through 1/2 session of trial & error & an excess of encouragement from your mates. Take enough time & stir it with thought & prayer. Always remember be humble & polite to those who help & add positive feedback. Put it all together & bake for about a year. Purchase a power cell & install + to red, - to black. Give a splash of fire water. Kick her in the guts & listen for the music. Sit back with a beer to wash it all down. Job well done. That's how it's done ( the short story).
