Default Rear sprocket problem

Hey all: Looking for some advice. I am noticing a noise when I rock the bike back and forth in gear with the engine off. It sounds like the wheel is rubbing on the rubber cushions inside? There is free play before the sprocket and chain catches. I don't remember that much free play before? Is it time to change the rubber cushes inside?

Sounds like you're right, the cush drive rubbers may be worn out. Whip the wheel off and have a smooch about, let us know what you find.
