Talking My 31'st Bike and its a CBR1000F

Friends just purchased number 31 in a life long quest for the right ride. I've only ridden it 52 miles, but WOW a lot of love going on here.

1990 CBR1000F 29,000 miles meticulously maintained - $2,000.00 and its all mine.

Of course lots of love
It's a California "silver bullet"
Check to see that it's had all the emission crvp taken off, or you're only getting around 105 BHP instead of around 130 BHP
There are restrictor rings in the carb inlet boots - grind them off or buy a new set of inlet rubber boots, and you'll be an even happier bunny - but watch out - she may bite you, if you don't learn to love her first........keep her under 6000 RPM (which is where the Hurricane bit starts) and you'll be fine.
See my siggy, I have one, and Sprock does too !!
Best of a fine breed
ENJOY !!

Great looking bike and great price as well. I paid $2500.00 for my '90 with 4000 miles on it.

Hey! Nice lookin bikes you got. Like the tricolor. looks mint!

Got my second Cane today, an -87 1000f in good condition. Woke up this morning, did a last random attempt to find one closer to where I live. Found it, in my town, and cheeper than I expected

Now, just got in from a 30 km ride in what most people would call a haigl storm or snow storm lol. Worth the ride.

Motor is quite and nice. Pipes shiny and loud

Cant wait for the new "pazzo" handles.

Is there any way to make the headlght perform a bit better?

thanx

polarpanther

Default Finally got my bike running again

I got my 1993 CBR 1000f in February. It had some issues charging so I took it to a shop and they had to rebuild my alternator. It is finnalyu running like its supposed to and I am loving it. I have parked my truck and I ride it everywhere. I live in GA and now I am looking for somewhere to get a new fairing kit for it. I cant even find a website that carries them. I need help. I am really looking for a Redbull or a Repsol kit for it. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it. Also, If anyone is around the northwest GA area I am looking for some people to ride with.
Thanks all
