Hello everyone had some tough days but this has been one of my worst. Just buried my dog .Had her 15 years since she was 8 weeks old. Stopped eating 4 days ago just gave up. Was'nt right to keep her going I would have been keeping her alive for my benefit not hers . Sorry to be on such a downer. Had to try and purge my grief.

 

Sorry to hear of your loss Harry. We lost our rottweiler at Christmas. He had a heart attack, I was holding him when he died. Just try to focus on the good times you had with your buddy. That helped me alot.

Sorry to hear it Harry, that's a tough one to take. Take a good ride on the bike man
and let that fresh Donegal air clear yer head out a bit.......it'll get better man.

When I lost my previous dog Harvey aka Harvmeister (Bassett Hound) it was a complete downer
most of here know how tough it is when one of your best friends checks out..heartbreaking.

His AKC American Kennel Club cert' read "Harvey King of The Celts" and that he was.
Best damned dog I ever owned .....ever

 

Hey Harry, I can't say much more than the others and not sound redundant. I am sorry for your loss and can't imagine how I'm gonna be when I lose my "old man". He's my old baby and he's a good boy.

Think it was Steve-o that said it best? They're better than most humans.

You'll see her again. Take yer time to grieve and remember the times. Don't be afraid to get back on the horse though.

Both of my dogs are from Dog Rescue shelters. They are some of the best dogs I've ever seen, and it feels good to save 'em from an untimely death.

 

So sorry to hear about your dog Harry . Though it's difficult you did the right thing in the end , as you did all his life

man im sorry to hear that, a person gets real tight with there dog, had my german shepard befor i got married and ill have her after i get divorced(again),,,but you did the right thing, even thow it bites
