I agree, to a point. Take into account, if you wanted sport, there was the GSXR. If you wanted touring, there was an R-100RT or an affordable Concours.
The mkI split it down the middle, in my opinion
I remember drooling over the Bimota Paso back in the day. The fully enclosed fairing.
Wild, for the day, Italian styling but the Hurricane had Honda reliability.
