Looking at the promo shot, it shows them in rolling fields herding sheep. There's also a rack on the back for carrying equipment. I'm just not sure how long the batteries would last like that. Especially if the farmer had any heft to him/her. In addition, if you use the USB ports as designed it would be an even further drain. But like I said, I really like where they are going with it.
As a side note, the Segway as it is today was born out of an attempt to market a Segway like wheelchair. It was fairly incredible. I remember watching videos of it and thinking it was one of the most spectacular things. I'm not sure why it didn't take off, probably cost.

Put a cup holder on it and I'm all for it. I can see myself riding along the trails sipping a cold one in that thing. Light-bar and maybe a chainsaw mounted behind the rider.

There must be some kind of modification to put bigger knobbies on it.
