I think I might need one of these

Sure it does... I didn't realize there's an arc reactor in that "battery" case
I can't seem to find the spec sheet from the mobile site but I've done some studying about the subject at hand and that's such a bold statement that without knowing more I can pretty much say no it won't, at least not with a grown man sitting on top. And I sincerely doubt it will even if it's unladen on a treadmill... Not expecting anyone to reinvent the wheel, it's just pure math that it will never fulfill those promises with that battery.

That's fine Matti, don't really want to get into any really deep technical discussion about battery capacity etc. I am no electrician.
In fact the whole "kill you if it leaks" aspect of electricity just scares me.
I just put it out there for a bit of fun and something different.
If it doesn't suit you that's fine.
I don't like cabbage rolls that much either, but I'm not gonna dis you if you do.
I guess if you have any problems with what is stated on the website , you should probably deal with the website owners directly.

Why am I spending so much defending these people?
I just thought it was a pretty neat idea. I am not a salesperson on commission. Maybe in a couple of years; with a wee bit more development ; we can say
"Oh Yes , I remember about KiwiTK telling about this thing"
The world is moving very quickly at the moment, battery technology, solar power recharging etc , suddenly, what seemed to be a very stupid idea could easily become a very clever idea in a matter of months.

I don't believe it was made to replace a gas engine driven machine. I think the makers are looking at a market of a few people that want to go into the woods for a few hours. Its more of a motorized MT bike, much lighter than a real off-road bike loaded with fuel. Someone inspecting power lines may see a need for it.
The military could use it for a surprise attack. Park it nearby and let the sun recharge it before pulling out.
The Segway is neither fast or can travel many miles but it has a purpose.
