Well first off the video 300 is of a Blackbird............... !!
But yup that would be the problem on the way to work - other road users....

Good music on the second one - not much faith in the artist though !
A bit of a fudge packer I'm told...........

I think we should have a poll on what other machines we'd like - I'd have a 1098 Ducati RR, no doubt...................

I go for keep the F and get the Blade for variety. 929 sounds just right. Best HP to weight ratio as I recall.

I agree with the majority here...the Fireblade is a great fun razorblade of a bike, but for me it's not comfy enough for real S/T duty. The Blackbird can make a fine replacement for a CRB with some taller bars.

So would you say the Blackbird leans more toward the 'Sport' side of 'Sports Tourer' in standard form?

Yep, I'd say so. Mostly because the riding position is a little more forward.

If you have ever thought about the VFR bars or GenMar risers mentioned in this forum, you would not be a Fireblade candidate. I voted to keep the F and let the blade come and go.

Over the road there are far less times when you are looking for more performance than comfort. With that said, the 1kF should shine over the blade. As for the XX swap, I have not ridden one but, the coast of replacement formula states to me that it is not economical to try to replace something with little gain at a price that is higher than bla, bla, bla, bla..........
