Blowing off the Winter CobWebs

Glad to hear you've made contact with pavement at last Mark. Your usual nice pictures to prove the point. Just a short blast out on the old girl can put a big smile on yer face after such a long break.
Talking of big smiles, I had my best ride of the year so far on Friday morning.
Got out early (around 06:30) to find the roads in prefect condition, the weather gods smiling down on me, my own senses sharpened to a keen edge...... you know when everything just comes together?
It was the first time this year that I've had no doubt about my tyres' ability to grip every inch of the journey or whether that patch of wet road up ahead might actually be ice.
Man it was good. Long sweeping bends taken in a perfect line. Lean angle down to the edges of the tread........
I just got to work with a big '**** yeah' grin from ear to ear.
Given that I've been riding almost every day since Jan 1, suffering all the kinds of crap on the roads that you are now finding, post snow, it's just so good to remember what motorcycling is really about.
Riding season is officially open in the UK.
I hope it isn't long before that feeling comes your way.
