Anyone headed to Birmingham, Alabama for the Vintage Festival? I have gone the past 3 years and the only other 1000F I've seen is in the museum! It's great to see so many cool old bikes.

 

Well have to eat my words, a little. I saw one other 1000F. A '93. I was on the tram at the time so I never got to talk with the owner. My son and I enjoyed seven passes on the Dragon and a run on the Cherohala Skyway and Smoky Mts. roads on the way to Barber in Birmingham. So wish I had a video rig so I could share. Over 1500 miles this trip.

 

How did it go? My buddy was down there at it, I was at Road Atlanta for the GNF's.

 

Rain made a few delays @ Barber, but I think they got all the classes run. I like that track alot. One day I may get a track bike!???? First trip for us together. The son was on his R6, great for the dragon but beat him up on the interstate runs.
