Default Almost lost the cane!

Bit of a **** day yesterday, I was on the way home from work, as I pulled up at the lights I noticed a car alternator belt on the floor "I bet some poor git had to walk home" I thought to myself.
The lights change and off I go, for about 15ft!!
The front wheel locks and theres a nasty....... SNAP!!
This chuffin fan belt has caught my tyre, looped uo and snagged the rear part of my front mudguard, the mudguard has then folded itself inside out back under the front part of the mudguard in the gap between the guard and the tyre
Its now shagged and very stuck!!!!!!!!!!!
@#&%locks to the car driver......
So an hour wait for the recovery truck sweating my nuts off in the sun for him to turn up with a 5mm allen key and an 8mm socket, whip it off and cut the rear part off with a hacksaw. AARGHHHH!!!!
I am now in the market for a new front mudguard. So if anybody spots one in white please let me know.
I suppose I was lucky not to be going any faster or the story would have been a whole lot different
